Landmarc Support Services are currently looking for a Technical Maintenance Manager to manage a team of technicians at Kirkcudbright Training Centre, Dumfries & Galloway
As the Maintenance Manager you are responsible to provide technical and managerial advice to a team of skilled technicians, who carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
Main ResponsibilitiesManage a team of people in respect to performance, attendance behaviour, capability, welfare health and safety and record keeping
Completing accurate information using a bespoke IT system
Manage and carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks as required
Ensure all remedial and reactive maintenance tasks are delivered
Ensure all works are compliant with statutory obligations such as CDM, building regs/standards, fire safety, equality act, planning and environmental guidance
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective maintenance delivery
Write contract specifications
Excavation Co-ordinator
Asbestos Management Co-ordinator & Legionella Control Co-ordinator
Appointed Person – Petroleum & Gas potential for other disciplines
The Ideal CandidateYou will be qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical or Building and Civil Engineering discipline preferably to HNC level or with equivalent knowledge and experience
Be familiar or have gained experience working in a Facilities Management Role
Strong Leadership skills
Excellent IT skills (essential)
Knowledge of matrix management
H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely level
Knowledge of workload scheduling
Knowledge auditing systems
Planning and analysis skills
