Zeki is building an information service which collects diverse data sets then uses behavioural analytics and AI to discover insights into the performance and potential of global science talent. We are creating a new benchmark for evaluating science talent.
About the Role
Exciting opportunity for a talented Data Scientist with strong machine learning and development skills to take ownership for all needs data science. This will suit someone who is looking for an environment where they can experiment, derive applicable data science use cases, and implement innovative solutions to recognize patterns.
You will need a good understanding of building and deploying models within different tools, and should have an inquiring mind that seeks to answer business questions.
You will have good experience of the data science process, including requirements gathering, data pre-processing, modelling, testing, deployment, and operationalization/monitoring in production.
Good communication skills and a self-learner, able to quickly acquire new skills and can innovate. You will be working closely with data engineers, research analysts and data scientists to answer complex business questions from diverse and challenging datasets.
Responsibilities
· Conducting hypothesis and experiments
· Developing data science use cases per business need
· Developing new models, training, testing, and validating
· Setting up an ML environment
· Conducting data cleaning tasks, creating derived data, and supporting database enrichment
· Providing support on data integrity and consistency by ML based entity resolution
· Track and communicate issues to technology leadership team
· Document the delivered solutions at the technical and business level
· Storing, maintaining, and monitoring model versions
Skills
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a data scientist
· Strong python skills and working with a variety of machine learning libraries
· Good knowledge of NLP and transformers
· Knowledge of deep learning
· Multiclass classification and Recommendation engines
· Clustering and Similarity Models
· Good SQL skills and Data framing (pandas, Scikit learn)
· Understanding of code versioning and model maintenance
· Excellent communication skills in communicating ideas and creative concepts
· Experience in working in virtual teams and being in constant collaboration
· Well organised, delivering work to a brief and to a deadline, sometimes under pressure
· Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership for key services
Nice to Have
· Experience using AWS Sagemaker and MLOps
· SaaS Product Background
· Generative AI
· Understanding of talent or HR space
· Experience with entity resolution and behavioural analytics
· Experience with graph database for exploring relationships across multiple datasets

Salary: £55,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
