Steel Operative (Weekends) West Bromwich, England
Job description
A Steel Operative is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in West Bromwich to work on their weekend shift.
You will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, feeding the machine lines and loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch.
Duties of the role include;
- Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
- Operating counterbalance forklift trucks
- Helping to load and unload machines
- Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery
- Any other duties as and when required
You will be working on a weekend shift pattern;
- 6:00am - 6:00pm (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
This role will be;
- Working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities
- Weekly pay whilst on the agency
- Paying 15.65 per hour
They are offering a higher rate of 17.09 per hour for candidates with experience setting and operating slitting lines.
