Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities for leveraging data-driven insights.
- Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques to analyse complex datasets, extracting actionable insights.
- Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and cleanse data from various sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Create visualisations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate data-driven functionalities into our products and services.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
- Contribute to A/B testing and experimentation to optimise product offerings and user experiences.
- Participate in team discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
- Sound understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data manipulation techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate insights effectively.
- Knowledge of data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate and innovate.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, open to learning and embracing new technologies.
