Role Description
We are looking to hire a Graduate Data Scientist following recent developments and significant investments being made into our products and technology - including a newly designated growth platform for Kantar.
Does the generation of evidence based insight through the analysis of shopper and consumer behaviour appeal to you? Are you excited by the prospect of solving some of the biggest issues facing the manufacturers and retailers of consumer goods? Are you inquisitive, willing to challenge and be challenged?
Kick-start your career by joining our team at Kantar to become a member of our Worldpanel Expert Solutions community!
Our Worldpanel division collects real shopping data from tens of thousands of real, UK shoppers on a continuous basis. Our samples are organised into different panels covering different channels and industries, which collectively cover a huge breadth of UK consumer purchasing.
Our datasets are large and rich, containing millions of transactions and are often augmented with the attitudes and opinions of our panellists. This allows Kantar to really dig under the skin of how shoppers behave and why which in turn allows us to help our clients make better business decisions.
Our Worldpanel Expert Solutions community draws upon data science and consultancy skills to address some of the more complex questions our clients need to solve. Our data science teams work on projects that can cover a wide range of topics; from strategic applications such as consumer segmentation, to work supporting media targeting through to more granular tactical applications such as price and promotion. These projects could be helping any one of our hundreds of clients and could cover any category from furniture to breakfast cereal.
Our expert community already contains some fantastic people but we’re now looking to grow even further. To do that we need to expand our teams of data scientists with people who can develop the skills to analyse and interpret our research data and bring new insights to our clients.
