About the role
We are looking for a Data Operations and Insights Manager to join the Deliveroo Media and eCommerce team to support the senior management team on building the data proposition for the Deliveroo, Media and eCommerce team. To service our Sales and Strategy teams internally, and external advertising partners. You will be able work under a hybrid working model between our London HQ and home. The role will report directly into the Head of Operations for Deliveroo Media and eCommerce.
The Team
Deliveroo Media & eCommerce is the 3rd party retail media, sampling and eCommerce marketing platform for consumer brands wanting to drive more demand on the Deliveroo platform. We partner with leading global consumer brands to help them drive their advertising reach, product trial and sales conversion rates.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver the best service to our partners - servicing data sets, in the cadence and format as agreed in the Data Licence Agreement (DLA)
- Co-selling. Support the sales team in this client-facing role. Once the partnership is confirmed, onboarding and our DLA partners to use our tools to access and understand the data shared
- Help clients to determine how to measure and analyse the effectiveness of their business, through developing tools to better understand brand, category and marketing performance on our platform
- Receiving, capturing and understanding insight briefs from our partners and addressing any measurement queries
- Building and delivering insights projects to fulfil briefs for FMCGs such as customer growth opportunities. Using audience data to identify gaps and opportunities to drive growth vs. the competition. Or identifying distribution gaps to drive sales using internal sales performance metrics
- Taking a lead role in shaping our data and analytics proposition to clients, working to develop products and services and service marketing goals for FMCGs.
- Identifying opportunities to deepen and grow the relationship with key partners by involving and working with other internal Deliveroo teams.
Requirements
- 4 + years experience
- Background - You will have experience in data servicing. Hands-on experience in a data analytics role within the digital, media or advertising space, an information/data firm, FMCG or a fast-growing company
- Data Analysis - You will be comfortable analysing large data sets, using this to scope, and build insight projects for internal and external stakeholders. You are excited by data, believe in the power of data and want to know more about our business through this data and insights
- Campaign Reporting - You will be comfortable analysing the impact of marketing performance on campaign objectives. Have a understanding of campaign planning, measurements, and what levers drive success in advertising technology to fuel data led decisions to drive campaign planning
- Tools - You will have experience with databases and querying languages including SQL and BigQuery and BI tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Stakeholder Management - You are, trying your best to deliver the best possible service to our partners. You will be a creative negotiator and have experience in cross-team stakeholder management, including Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Grocery Commercial and Partner Insights
- Data evangelist - you will be innovative in how you approach opportunities, and question the boundaries of what is possible. You understand the role of data in the world of marketing and ecommerce and use that understanding to drive positive outcomes.
