About the role

As a Data Management Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining records of deliveries, both incoming and outgoing, ensuring that entries are correct and complete
  • Maintaining the database and evolving fields as changes are required; working closely with database administrators to implement necessary changes in a timely fashion
  • Assisting in archiving and cleanup of records and media
  • Providing data management support to program data deliverables
  • Ensuring received and generated data contains all appropriate classification markings
  • Being on-site 50% of work week to support network-to-network data transfers and assisting in media transactions and/or audits
  • Acting as an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) with respect to the handling of classified documentation
  • Working with a geographically diverse employee population and with derivative document classification markings

What you bring to the role

  • Diploma and/or degree in Information, Library and/or Records Management or related field; or equivalent combination of related experience and education
  • Data Management, Database and/or Records Management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically: Excel, Word & Teams
  • Ability to pro-actively interface with team members
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and the willingness to drive the work, as required, to ensure that all tasks/deliveries are completed on-time or ahead of schedule
  • Clearance Requirement: A clearance is not required upon hire, but the position will require the candidate to obtain and maintain a minimum of a NATO/SECRET clearance.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • New Graduate, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines
  • Experience using PTC Windchill, Redmine, and/or Jira; additional consideration given to those familiar with Tableau
