We’re on the lookout for a detail-orientated, process-driven person to enter recipe and nutrition data into our recipe database. We need someone who has a super keen eye for detail and is able to spot errors in datasets.
Role Overview
As a Data Entry Clerk you will play a crucial role in creating our recipe database for our app, meticulously entering recipes and verifying their accuracy. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in ensuring our customers receive recipes that are tasty and nutritionally accurate. You'll work collaboratively with our content team, assisting in maintaining the quality and integrity of our recipe collection. You will work fully in-house at our Team Valley Offices.
Role and Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently enter recipes into our database, paying careful attention to ingredients, measurements, nutritional information and instructions.
- Thoroughly review and validate customer-uploaded recipes, cross-referencing them with our existing database to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain high standards for recipe content, adhering to our guidelines and style preferences when it comes to entering ingredients, weights, imagery and instructions.
- Regularly audit and update recipe information to guarantee up-to-date and reliable content.
- Work closely with our content team to address any inconsistencies or issues, providing feedback and insights for improvement.
- Assist customers with any inquiries related to recipe content and provide helpful assistance when needed.
- Occasionally assist in identifying trending recipes and culinary themes to contribute to our recipe collection.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in data entry or a related field, preferably with a focus on recipe or food management.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Passion for culinary arts and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Basic understanding of recipe components, such as ingredients, measurements, and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with customer support practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using data entry software and tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
