Propane Compliance Administrator
The role of the Propane Compliance Administrator is to support the propane team by coordinating tank swaps, reporting & record keeping to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This position will also assist propane data entry with invoicing.
Main Duties:
· Communicate with customers on Technical Safety BC regulations/compliance
· Work closely with gasfitters & dispatchers on compliance work
· Qualify tanks for compliance upgrades
· Assess propane container location pictures for compliance
· Obtain tank operating permits as required
· Track tank swaps & compliance upgrades
· Update computer system with tank & inspection data
· Receive/log/track TSBC & SSEL tank inspection reports
· Record cylinder recertification info
· TSBC reporting/correspondence including reconciliation of annual tank operating permit invoices
· Compile propane management manuals for operation & maintenance
· Scan & e-file
· Other ad hoc requests
Secondary Duties:
· Assist Propane Data Entry with invoicing
o Enter/check trip sheets & delivery receipts
o Generate/check/mail invoices
o Enter credit notes / charge memos
o Enter lifts
o Enter refinery & customer price changes
Key Skills Required:
· Effective communication skills
· Neat & well organized
· Attention to detail & high level of accuracy is essential
· Quick learner
· Able to handle high pressure situations in a fast paced environment
· Computer skills such as the ability to operate computerized accounting software and use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
· Able to work both independently & as a team
This is a full time position (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm).
