6 Month Term - 3/4 to Fulltime - Flexible hours.
2 years' experience minimum in data entry.
Willing to train the right candidate.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily tasks of the Accounts Payable Clerk will include:
- Assist with the day to day accounting functions in the accounting department
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders and other accounting documents or records
- Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies
- Enter data into accounting system using defined computer programs
- Reconcile data for internal billing, credit card payments and other disbursements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Accounts Payable Clerk candidates must:
- Have exceptional attention to detail & accuracy.
- Demonstrate patience and be a strong team player.
- Be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Accounting diploma or experience is beneficial, but not a requirement.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Sage300 ERP experience considered an asset.
