The Group IT function has a critical role to play in supporting the Group's commitment to put ‘People First' and to be a digital business. Our strategic objective is to partner with the business functions to proactively deliver innovative digital solutions and create technology platforms that allow the Group to flex and operate in an environment in which the pace of change, often technology-driven, continues to increase enabling the Group to meet and exceed its strategic objectives ensuring that people are our first priority.
As a Data Engineer you will build, manage and optimise data pipelines and then produce the data in an easy-to-read customer focused format. You will be considered a blend of data and analytics “evangelist,” “data guru” and “fixer”.
This role will follow a Hybrid working patter and your time will be split between working from the Office and working from Home

More about you
You will have expansive knowledge of Data and Analytics as well as experience working with popular database programming languages such as SQL and PL/SQL ..Experience working with large, heterogeneous datasets in formats such as ETL, ELT, data replication, CDC, API design and access is required whilst skills and experience using Google GCP, Agile project management and Microsoft Windows platforms are beneficial.
