Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (multiple openings)
Job Location: Riverwoods, IL
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Apply a hands-on approach with next generation technologies to contribute to the team by designing and developing the latest data driven platforms and next generation analytic technologies. Design and develop data ingestion frameworks, real time processing solutions, and data processing/transformation frameworks leveraging open source tools. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in Data Specialist or related.
Position required skills: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: developing and troubleshooting ETL/ELT (Ab Initio, SQL) solutions with complex data transformation; utilizing SQL to
perform data ingestion, data analysis, and query optimization; creating, maintaining, and supporting jobs for data ingestion using IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler; creating UNIX scripts for ETL/ELT development for data ingestion; and utilizing Teradata for data loads, data analysis, and optimization.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $84,500 to $142,500. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
