The role:
We are currently recruiting for a Data and Reporting Apprentice, to be based within our Glasgow Office.
This role will incorporate the Digital Applications SCQF Level 6 qualification with a national Training Provider. It will take approximately 10-12 months to complete and will provide you with the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience as you earn a salary and receive relevant training and support at no cost to yourself. Once completed, this programme will also open the door for potential further employment opportunities with Hymans Robertson.
In this role you will work alongside our Data and Reporting team and you’ll learn to:
- Source, format and present data securely
- Perform data entry quickly and accurately through maintenance of internal spreadsheets and databases
- Communicate and present data outcomes with various team members
- Blend data from multiple sources as directed
- You may have the opportunity to work on projects and use software such as PowerBI
- Adhere to the firm’s Information Security standards, policies and procedures

- Self-motivated, with the ability to use their initiative to get tasks done
- Able to work quickly and accurately, with great attention to detail
- Keen to use their excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong communicators, who enjoy working as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 software or who show a willingness to learn this
Given you'll be working with data and numbers as part of this role, we'd also be looking for you to have studied Maths to at least Scottish Standard Grade level (or equivalent).
