About the business area
In Data & Analytics we promote the intelligent use of data and making sure it’s used in the right way. Data is one of our biggest assets. How we harness this data to understand the world, our business and our customers is crucial to our success.
Good data engineering helps us to get to grips with the data we have, and to profile the key features we can use to power our data science models. And in Data Science, we can apply statistics, programming and problem-solving skills together to generate solutions and efficiencies that drive people decisions.
Applications for this programme will be open until we receive enough applications to complete our hiring. When that happens, we’ll close the programme to new applications. It’s important to take the time to make sure you’re making the right decision about the programme you want to apply for (you can only apply for one Internship programme) but please complete your application as soon as you can to make sure you don’t miss out.
If you need any adjustments to support your application, such as information in alternative formats or special requirements to access our buildings, or if you’re eligible under the Disability Confident Scheme please contact us and we’ll do everything we can to help.
About Orsted
Ørsted’s vision is a world that runs entirely on green energy. We develop, construct and operate offshore and onshore wind farms, solar farms and energy storage facilities, bioenergy plants and provide energy products to our customers.
A decade ago, we initiated our transformation from a black to a green energy company as DONG Energy. Since then, we’ve reduced our coal consumption by 91% and decided to fully phase out coal in 2023. We’ve become a global leader in offshore wind and have installed enough capacity to power more than 19 million people. Our ambition is to raise this number to 30 million by 2025. By 2030, our ambition is to have installed approx. 50 GW of renewable energy capacity.
In 2017, we divested our upstream oil and gas business, thereby completing our transformation to become fully dedicated to green energy.
Our transformation means that we’ve become too green for our name. DONG, originally short for Danish Oil and Natural Gas, is no longer an accurate description of who we are, or who we want to be. So now we’re Ørsted.
