About The Role
The Loss Prevention Specialist, Data & Analytics will assist in the delivery and development of data reporting strategy, creating and providing reports to the Loss Prevention team, making things simpler for our Loss Prevention colleagues and the wider business, enabling effective investigations and substantiated business decisions based on all elements of loss
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Provide data in the format required to Loss Prevention colleagues and the operation to agreed timelines
Provide insight reports using company data to highlight risks that could cause potential loss
Obtain and manipulate data using coding languages to structure to allow users to identify potential inappropriate behaviour and identify trends.
Build reports and dashboard for end users to ensure the data strategy is fulfilling its full potential and assist in the execution of the data mining strategies to ensure all plans are delivered, providing evidence and packs to allow speedy and effective identification and prosecution of theft and fraud.
Identify new and efficient ways to simplify processes automate work through coding in order to mitigate risk / loss and allow time to be spent on more
Work with partners across the business to monitor compliance trends and assign value of savings through action taken
This is a hybrid role operating over a four day working week*. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.

About You

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
Advanced IT skills including Excel, Business Intelligence or other data manipulation and reporting software
Ability to provide presentations that explain process, data analysis and or investigations and outcomes to managers at all levels, detailing the methodology used to created the analysis and provide advice on the appropriate next steps the business should take based on the work completed by the team
Ability to use code in various platform e.g. SQL and Python
The ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business and at all levels of seniority
The ability to build and analyse reports that direct business activity
The ability to think logically about problems / taks and come to reasoned conclusions and recommendations
