We’re looking for enthusiastic school leavers to join our Data Analyst Apprenticeship programme and become our next generation of Data professionals. What you’ll do:
The Client Servicing & Engagement Platform will deliver the next generation digital bank for clients, which is mobile first and data led. By simplifying and automating journeys, clients will receive a better experience, and colleagues will be enabled to spend more time helping clients to grow their business.
You’ll form part of the People Workstream, supporting all the components of the workstream creating and managing effective data solutions that enable analysis of data to inform and shape decisions for the wider programme.
As part of this role you’ll:
- Manage and maintain data, working across multiple teams and data types using technical capabilities to build repeatable processes / data bases
- Demonstrate strong data literacy and a highly developed interest in working with data
- Use logical reasoning to question data and understand complexity
- Work with and analyse data to generate insight and support decision making where you’ll apply mathematical knowledge to solve business problems
- Listen actively and show an interest in identifying the business relevance of key trends and attention to critical detail
- Maintain composure to manage your workload and build relationships across the business
About the programme & what you’ll learn:
Starting in September 2023, you’ll be supported through a fully funded Level 4 – Data Analyst Apprenticeship professional qualification - delivered by our trusted partner Firebrand. You’ll also be supported in work by your Line Manager, in work Buddy and Apprenticeship Learning Mentor.
Whilst on the apprenticeship scheme around 20% of your time will be dedicated to ‘Mandatory Apprenticeship Hours’, which can include attending workshops, shadowing, reading, completing assignments etc. This means 80% of your role is applying your learning in the workplace, in a safe environment.
Please note – you’ll be required to be based in the location listed on this vacancy and will be expected to be ‘on-site’ in the office 1-2 days per week. Additional travel may also be required as part of this role.
By the end of this programme, not only will you have a Level 4 – Data Analyst qualification, you’ll have a clear path for progression within Lloyds Banking Group and a firm understanding of your strengths and career goals.
Entry requirements:
We expect you to be motivated, ambitious and committed to your own development. In particular, you’ll be keen to get to grips with financial systems and processes.
The minimum qualifications required for this role are:
- Minimum 5 National 5 qualifications at Grades 1 – 3 or equivalent (including Maths and English) AND
- At least one Higher Grade or equivalent by September 2023
Please note - these can include predicted grades.
