Data Analyst
Based in Exeter

Primary Responsibilities:
Utilise Microsoft PowerBi to analyse various facets of school business data, transforming them into meaningful, actionable insights.
Apply Microsoft Dynamics for data collection and design and implement a proficient Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution.
Harness Microsoft PowerApps to automate business routines, increasing efficiency within our school business operations.
Generate comprehensive monthly reports to provide insights into aspects of our business and to support strategic decision-making.
Develop interactive data dashboards for the leadership team to facilitate informed strategic decision-making.
Key Areas of Focus:
School nursery bookings and income management: Develop systems for managing bookings, tracking income, and identifying potential areas for enhancement.
Dining service management: Establish systems for coordinating meal choice orders, food orders, table seating, special diets, income, and expenditure, ensuring a seamless dining experience for all students and staff.
Student assessment data: Implement systems to track, analyse, and report on student assessment data to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.
School admissions data: Analyse trends in school admissions data to support strategic enrolment management and planning.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is an ambitious, detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for education. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, Microsoft PowerBi, Microsoft Dynamics, and Microsoft PowerApps is required, as is the ability to present complex data in a straightforward, comprehensible manner.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerBi, Microsoft Dynamics, and Microsoft PowerApps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in creating reports and data dashboards.
Demonstrable experience in data collection and management.

How to Apply:
The position is a permanent position and all year round. The working hours are 40 per week, starting at 8.30am, finishing at 5.00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The salary will be between £23,000 and £27,000 per annum to allow for experience, qualification and progression.
