Located in Peterborough, the main purpose of this role will be to support the supervisor in the delivery of the track renewal project
What you'll be doing
As a Track Operative, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Assist with carrying out Track Renewals work as directed by the Supervisor/Track Chargeman.
- Assist with auxiliary duties as required.
- Sound knowledge of Permanent Way Renewals, particularly concerning component parts.
- Knowledge of Rules and Regulations, HASAW Act and other appropriate statutory regulations.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
- Demonstrable experience of Track Renewals / Maintenance activities
- Hole or have previously held PTS, Small Plant proficiencies
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to drive or willing to learn.
