This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Data Architecture Simplification programme, which is responsible for migrating the data from on premise to cloud based services to enable architecture simplification and reducing data replication.
The team sits within the wider Data Centre of Excellence and are at the heart of data analysis for the bank. We’re looking for a new addition to our team, ideally someone who has had some exposure to data analysis and is looking to move into a more formal data role, expanding their skills and working alongside our Technical Product Owner and Project Manager.

Building excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders including up to Data & Analytics CoE leadership team.
Working with AWS Cloud Services, specifically Sagemaker
Working with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Power BI
Supporting with requests and queries and responding to them and where possible resolving them in a timely manner.
Liaising with stakeholders to understand business issues & analytical requirements.
Understanding the customers of the project, and ensure their needs are reflected in the project delivery approach and deliverables.
What you’ll bring.
Previous experience in a Data Analysis/Business Analyst role would be a distinct advantage, although exposure to working with data as a minimum will be required.
A good understanding and awareness of the benefits of Business Intelligence and/or Data Science tools, prior experience would be a distinct advantage.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Knowledge of Python as Programming Language
Working knowledge of basic AWS Cloud Services, and also ideally AWS Sagemaker
Basic knowledge of Software projects implementation, from Development to Production, ideally familiar with CI/CD tools
University degree within the Data Science remit would be desirable
