Birmingham Mind is the largest independent mental health charity providing services in and beyond the City of Birmingham’s boundaries.
We promote wellbeing and recovery, providing high quality support and challenging the stigma of mental distress.
Our vision is “Better Mental Health for All”.
We deliver a Helpline that provides advice, information and signposting to people experiencing mental health difficulties, their families, professionals and the wider public. The service is open 24hrs a day every day but operated by Birmingham MIND between 9am-11pm.
In addition, we provide live webchat between 10.00am-9pm everyday with an inbuilt translation function.
The role:
This role is key in analysing the data we collect to identify trends and gaps in service to help shape future service delivery and commissioning decisions.
This is a discreet piece of project work initially for 6 months with a potential for 9 months.
Do you have experience with Power BI at a high level? The role involves using Power BI to create a dashboard to present and analyse data.

Experience of the development, maintenance, evaluation, and review of systems and supporting tools to support the data requirements of a medium sized organisation.
IT literacy and familiarity with data analysis software, spreadsheets, databases, and other software packages
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present evidence that will help improve quality and performance of service delivery.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Demonstrable experience in the use of monitoring and evaluation tools and processes.
Knowledge of the charity sector and or NHS/Mental Health sector.
