Job description
The Data Analytics directorate plays a core role in delivering the Foundation’s overall mission and strategy. We use cutting-edge approaches to provide insights about UK health and care system performance including problems, their causes, and potential solutions. We also support analysts across the Foundation with access to data and tools, and support and promote the use of data analytics across the health and care system.
This is an exciting opportunity for a data analyst to join the Data Analytics team. The postholder will require strong quantitative and analytical skills to provide timely analysis of operational and health data. They will work collaboratively with senior colleagues to support ambitious analysis projects, including reviewing existing data sources and evidence, contributing to the design of research protocols and preparing analysis findings for publication.
The data analyst will initially work within the Networked Data Lab team, which is the central hub of a collaboration of five analytics teams across the UK. Working with these partner teams we analyse linked health data to provide national and local health system leaders with insights to improve the UK’s health and care.
