Overview:

Flooid Ltd are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team.

The Role:

You will be fantastic at building sales leads : market making, deal making and hunting new opportunities; setting strategy and leading the sales process.


You will be knowledgable about modern retailing and understand the requirements of forward thinking retailers, with a proven track record of identifying and qualifying sales leads.


Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and targeted clients, collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximising business reach and potential.


Other responsibilities include:
  • Generating outbound leads and responding to inbound requests for more information
  • Managing sales process
  • Developing and delivering presentations, proposals and campaigns
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Planning and supporting new marketing initiatives, researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Developing goals and KPIs for business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Writing proposals, coordinating RFI and RFI responses
  • May also be required to provide overlay sales to increasing the value of current customers
Skills and Experience:
You will need to bring:
  • Retail, hospitality, or Cx domain sales expertise, and/or Industry consulting experience
  • A clear understanding of how the retail industry is changing, and the catalysts for change
  • A heritage in software with specific competence in complex platform, digital, cloud, and subscription/SaaS/PaaS, and a clear understanding of how sales are made in the subscription economy
  • The ability to build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and partners

Salary:
Up to £85,000 + car allowance + Sales related bonus scheme (dependant on experience)


Location:
Hybrid, flexible, expected on site in Coventry a few times a month.


Travel:
UK and & International travel required dependent on customer needs. You will be required to attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
