Job Description:
Length of term: 4 months (Fall 2023) - September - December 2023
Hybrid/Remote: This co-op opportunity is voluntarily in person, remote or hybrid. If you decide remote or hybrid, you will be required to work within the province. Remote work outside of the province will not be a possibility.
Reporting to the Business Analyst, Data Governance, the Data Governance Analyst, Co-op will assist the SunRise Data Governance Team with documenting data dictionaries, data flows/data lineage, data profiling, and assisting with project management requirements of the workstream.

Assist in implementing a data governance roadmap
What do you need to succeed?
Comfortable in a dynamic environment
Working towards a degree in Commerce (Finance, Accounting), Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Sciences or Business Administration (or equivalent)
Presentation and communication skills
Analytical skills and with the ability to pay attention to detail
Self-starter and time management skills
Intermediate skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to learn new technology & business processes/concepts and apply knowledge from these concepts
The ability to code in VB, Python, experience with Tableau and/or financial reporting is an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
