This newly created role will form a key part in a newly formed team reporting into our Operational Data Governance Manager. The team is on an exciting journey with significant investment in technology and ways of working that will enable us to support and deliver the groups drive towards a data and digital enabled future.
OSB Group is a leading specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market. What you will be doing:The key purpose of this role is to provide Operational Data Governance capabilities in line 1 to support the Group in meeting the obligations of its data policies. The Senior DG analyst will design and support the implementation of standards, controls and monitoring to aid the data owner and steward community across the group meet their obligations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support the Operational Data Governance Manager in designing and implementing Data Governance initiatives; working to continuously improve these within in the Group across all data types; focusing on demonstrable value back to the business.- Lead the development of standards, controls, other reporting measures, and processes to demonstrate the effective implementation of Data Governance.
- Lead the delivery of Data Governance initiatives across the Group.
- Provide data governance expertise to projects and programmes.
- Proactively engage with the business regarding Data Governance approaches and controls to support increasing capability and awareness across the Group.
- Promote a collaborative, cross functional approach to data knowledge sharing, contributing to an effective data control environment for areas such as Data Quality and EUDA management.
- Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to design and monitor performance indicators, metrics & scorecards relating to Data Governance.
We offer a base salary dependent on experience starting at £50,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
