Job description
We are looking for a forward-thinking and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in London and provide escalated first line technical support for our employees. In this role you will work closely with the IT Support Manager and the business to deliver excellent customer service, effective response times and provide expert insight into general support issues. You will need to ensure alignment to quality-of-service guidelines, provide support with the development of internal IT procedures, and act as an IT liaison between the business and the IT Service Delivery Manager.
Working within a highly encouraging team, you will grow your technical experience with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications and forming part of an industry leading insurance broker with more than 2,000 staff and 75 offices in the UK and Ireland.

Role Responsibilities:
- Escalated first line IT support for HUK&I employees
- Logging and escalation of calls within the ticketing system and responding to tickets logged into the systems by end users.
- Deliver excellent customer service, effective response times and to provide expert insight into general technical support issues.
- Provide support with the development of internal IT procedures to the business.
- Assistance in the generation of new user accounts, changes and leavers and associated setup’s
- Actively participate in projects, where vital, established to deliver key business initiatives.
- Provide support to business users when setting up end user equipment
Skills and experience:
- 1 year+ in IT Support environment
- Demonstrable experience of providing on-site support
- Practical application of Office 365 support
- Desktop hardware/peripherals
- Desirable, ITIL Foundation Certification.
