Job description
You’ll be joining our Brand and Communications department and more specifically, the Digital Optimisation Team who are specialists in digital insight, analytics and optimisation. Their objective is to deliver powerful digital and data insights to increase online conversion and customer / intermediary satisfaction. They work closely with our user experience, digital marketing and web content/development teams to pioneer strategic optimisation plans across the business.
Your role is all about being inquisitive, analytical and proactive, whilst ensuring our customer, member and intermediary online journey is at the heart of everything you do!
This role is no ordinary data role. We are going through an exciting period of change where data and optimisation is a driving force. You’ll experience a wide range of data sources and digital services, combined with an even wider variety of stakeholder expertise to learn from and share your skills.
We offer Hybrid working, but need you in our Bournemouth offices at least twice per week. (please note that this a 12 month FTC)
About you
- You’ll manage existing BAU reporting process needs for the business, briefing processes and stakeholder requests. This will include investigating and proposing new ways to enhance data and optimisation.
- You’ll be comfortable creating and developing reports for the business, whilst also running regular reports and providing analysis.
- Your role is central to the Optimisation Team, allocating data request received from the wider business or our external customers.
- You’ll be comfortable working with front end and back end data, producing sales and marketing reporting, analysing channel performance data and be keen to suggest improvements.
- Data is highly important to us, so you’ll be comfortable learning and following regulatory and governance Processes and requirements to ensure we meet our standards.
Details
- Experience of producing clear and concise written reports, visualisations and dashboards to briefs
- Experience of analysing large quantities of data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends
- Problem solving skills, logical thinking and attention to detail with an ability to prioritise
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with Power Pivot and Power Query
- Evidence of adapting analytical skills to changing roles and environments
- Ability to run and manage campaign reporting and data extractions, ensuring data governance is prioritised in your work
- Ability to work in a busy environment and managing stakeholders communications/expectations at all levels
- Previous experience using Power BI, SQL, and Google Suite services would be an advantage
- JavaScript/Python experience would also be an advantage
