My client is a financial organisation based in north Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced data analyst to join their expanding team with a fast track to a managerial position.

your responsibilities will include:

• You will act as a data voice; provide input and support the financial crime data strategy and push data driven decision making across wider financial crime function and rest of the business.
• You will utilize your analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, prepare, analyse, and interpret large datasets. You will use the information to develop trends, and conduct diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Collaborate with wider stakeholders, colleagues, across Financial Crime, Data team, IT, and other business areas to look for effective ways of establishing analytical solutions.
• Effectively gather and analyse analytics and data requirements for value driven analytical solutions, ensuring detailed documentation of requirements and a clear sign off process.
• Design and deliver data solutions built and presented in Analytics Tools such as SAS, SQL, Python and Tableau.
• Support and mentor other Data and MI analysts, ensuring structured learning path is in places with new and existing technologies.
• Proactively look for ways to automation/rationalize existing reports and enhancements to our technology.
