What you'll do
- Contribute to the existing Automation test packs (with help from the team). Help with releases by using CI/CD tools
- Provide estimations for testing effort on features and requirements, by working closely with Business Analysts & Product Owners. This includes being part of three amigos sessions to define testing scenarios/cases against feature acceptance criteria
- Build test cases & plans for feature work & Build and source test data for testing
- Act as champion within your role suggesting new ways of working to help grow and make the test team work better
- Provide real time reporting on testing execution to the Agile Test Lead.
- Driving your team to implement the best test practices by leading on defining the test requirements at refinement/ pre amigos stages.
- Defect management (handle and own their defects through to resolution)
What you'll bring
- Previous experience as a Test Analyst
- Willing to think automation first and champion this, with a keen understanding of writing Automation tests at all levels
- Knowledge of using CI/CD and version control tools such as Concourse, Octopus, Git or something similar
- Extensive web, mobile, and app testing experience using selenium & appium
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic Agile environment.
- Experience with SQL and using test tools such as JIRA/Confluence/BrowserStack.
- API Testing experience with REST and Postman
