You will be responsible for all things data, from ensuring its quality and correct formatting through extraction, transformation and loading procedures, to producing reports for our internal stakeholders to allow for clearer insight.

What you'll be doing
- Taking responsibility for operational data management to ensure that the requirements of all clients and customers are met accurately and within agreed timescales. This includes data cleansing, data validation, data transformation, data integration and data mining
- Consulting with a range of existing internal customers to understand their requirements to deliver the required solution
- Working with all internal partners to improve the quality of the data held on all systems to enable all users of the data to make necessary and accurate decisions, and provide the best service to customers
- Working closely with colleagues within the LDS team and in other client services teams and supporting in the testing and documenting of all processes to ensure all are appropriate, consistent, in line with the requirements for UK PRT and aligned to wider processes.
- Ensuring that a full audit trail of all benefit and data items throughout the lifecycle of the customer is maintained by following agreed processes and filing convention
- Ensuring all internal customers and any relevant third parties are kept updated in a timely fashion on any key information which impacts their processing to enable them to treat the end customer fairly
What we're looking for
- Advanced user experience in MS Excel
- Familiarity with code such as SQL or Python is beneficial
- Experience in delivering best practice MI solutions (e.g. highlight reports, management dashboards).
- Ability to manage tight timescales, prioritise own work or escalate if necessary
- Knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes is beneficial
