Remote / Home Based
Base Salary: up to £20,000 (FTE) with an UNCAPPED BONUS. Realistic OTE £40,000 plus
We are a specialist b2b digital publisher, conference and exhibition organiser with established brands serving fast growing markets. We are looking for a confident and professional individual with first-class verbal and written communication skills to recruit and manage our advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors.
You’ll need to be comfortable dealing with senior decision makers both on the telephone and face-to-face. To be successful you will need to be a bright, tenacious, well presented and a high-energy individual with a professional, proactive, structured and consultative approach with a focus on building long term value for both the company and our clients.
You will be responsible for selling both new and established products across a wide variety of industries, driving pipeline activity to deliver a steady flow of new business in order to hit revenue targets whilst building long term commercial relationships with existing clients. In addition you will need to:
- Keep abreast of market developments, identify and research new growth areas.
- Work closely with production and marketing to help create and deliver successful products that achieve revenue and attendance targets.
- Account manage current clients including forward selling and creating strong relationships with senior-level decision makers.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Seek market feedback to help develop products that meet the needs of our market.
- Help Identify and coordinate the involvement of an expert network in providing input, editorial and speakers for conference programmes and published articles.
- Share your knowledge to help improve our skills and internal processes.
- Work on-site during our events and attend other to prospect and network.
You must be able to demonstrate your sales knowledge and skills as well as evidence your experience. Prospecting is a key aspect of the role so being active and proactive is essential.
