A Data Analyst is required to join us on a permanent basis due to increased demand of our services. This is an exciting role for someone who has Data & ETL skills and is looking to push themselves to grow their career as a Data Consultant.

The Role:

  • Producing documentation, such as source-to-target mappings
  • Develop extract, transform, load (ETL) scripts and code to ensure ETL processes perform optimally
  • Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systems
  • Re-engineer manual data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use
  • Develop business intelligence reports that can be reused
  • Build accessible data for analysis
  • Communicate technical concepts in non-technical language to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Data Development processes: Demonstrated experience in designing, building and testing data products based on data from multiple systems, using a range of storage technologies, access methods or both to create repeatable and reusable products
  • Data integration design: Experience in delivery of data solutions to agreed organisational standards ensuring services are resilient, scalable, and future proof
  • Data analysis and synthesis: Experience of data profiling and source system analysis, presenting clear insights to colleagues to support the end use of the data
  • Data modelling: An awareness of the concepts and principles of data modelling, maintenance of data models
  • Data innovation: Showing an awareness of opportunities for innovation with new tools and uses of data
  • Good Experience of a SQL language (T-SQL desirable)
  • Good Experience of Microsoft SQL databases. database management and operations
