Data Analyst
Manchester - Full-time and on-site
We are looking for a Data Analyst.
As a Collinson Grant Data Analyst you will:
· provide support in all areas of data management and analysis
· assist in preparing requests for data from clients
· manage the consolidation and cleansing of large and often disparate data sets, using tools such as Microsoft Access
· develop sophisticated models to analyse the data and to test business hypotheses
· generate data-driven reports and dashboards – from high-level executive summaries to 'deep-drilled' analyses
We are interested in meeting people who:
· care about the standard of their output more than the people they are doing it for do
· are extremely hard-working and sensitive to time pressures
· have meticulous and near-obsessive attention to detail
· are numerate
· are practical with the application of their knowledge
· have experience in the presentation of complex analysis and the visualisation of outputs
Detailed experience of the following may be advantageous, but is not essential providing you have the above characteristics:
· Microsoft Access.
· Microsoft Excel.
· Structured Query Language (SQL).
· Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
· Business Intelligence tools (particularly Power BI).
