Job Title: Data Analyst

Term: Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £45,000 - £54,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location : Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Benefits: 25 days annual leave,

Up to 10% bonus

Contributory pension scheme- Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%

Contributory share scheme- Caterpillar will matched 50% of the employee's contribution

Optional Flexible Benefits including private medical/dental, EV car leasing, holiday purchasing etc

Relocation/ Sponsorship: We are not able to support relocation costs or provide VISA sponsorship

The Opportunity

This role is for you if you enjoy problem solving, driving change, learning and have an interest in digital tools and solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of data and analytics within our Industrial Power Systems Division Medium (IPSD-M) data team. Our vision is to drive stabilisation and fact-based decision making by utilising the power of data. You will be involved in multiple projects to drive data quality and data transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of data in IPSD-M.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) for multiple projects related to our current/future ERP systems

  • Automating data validation processes

  • Setting up data quality dashboards

  • Setting up data cataloguing

  • Providing Alteryx Admin support

  • Support business with use cases that require data analytics

Skills and Experience:

Candidates will demonstrate the following skills and experience through previous roles:

  • The ability to translate complex requirements and define solutions

  • Analytical mindset with tenacious attitude to problem solving

  • Experienced user of Alteryx, Tableau and Microsoft Power platforms

  • Good attention to detail

  • Great teamworking and communication skills

Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles

  • Experience of change management; coordinating multiple stakeholders through the project plan from conception to completion

  • ERP or transaction roles with a high volume of transaction flows

  • Cloud database warehousing
