Salary: £23,000 per annum pro rata
Hours of work: Part Time,12 hours per week by arrangement.
Hybrid working, but first 2 weeks in office for induction
We are a Midlands based charity looking for an experienced Social Media officer who will assist us in continuing to grow and increase our on-line presence.
You will work with delivery staff to develop interesting, regular postings to increase awareness of the services we offer and build engagement throughout our Social Media communities.
The Social Marketing officer will be responsible for:
- Working across all media platforms to support and lead on all social media activity to build a positive and informed community
- Creating interesting and informative content with regular postings to grow the followers across all the outlets as agreed.
- Promoting our services to strengthen the Charity while protecting the Charity’s image and reputation.
- Maintaining oversite of the Website making changes as needed and to both drive traffic and increase the followers.
- Monitoring and participating in relevant discussion on social media to increase engagement and suggest new options.
- Working with different social media metrics and keeping track of traffic for monitoring and review of outcomes.
- Working to build relationships across the business to manage and build staff engagement.
- Working as a member of the staff team to reinforce our commitment to excellent customer service.
To be considered for this role you will have experience in a Social Media role and be:
- A confident communicator and team player with good judgement and a common sense approach.
- A true social advocate who understands the role social media plays in creating affiliation and strong communities.
- Have good writing skills and be someone who can appreciate the differences of audiences across various social media channels and the need to adapt the different tone of voice needed and are comfortable with altering their approach accordingly.
