The Ops Data Analysis Associate is a dynamic and resourceful individual supporting the delivery of reporting requests across Operations. They ensure that department performance and individual stakeholder needs are met through the utilisation of different systems, data sources and delivery mechanisms.
What you’ll do;
Partner with Operations SME’s and key stakeholders in the wider business to extract data and design reporting solutions e.g. providing regular reporting to monitor the performance of specific processes.
Capture requirements.
Produce reporting for governance forums.
Review themes and trends, providing insight to business areas including suggested improvements.
Support key strategic initiatives through the provisioning or data and broader reporting activities.
Ensure that data produced is timely, accurate and is appropriately controlled (e.g dual control, annual reviews, redeveloped ahead of changes to the underlying datasets).
Follow the data standards and strategy for Ops DAs, supporting the management of reporting, ensuring it meets required enterprise standards.
Ensure stakeholders understand the data presented, along with clarity regarding any gaps or assumptions made.
What we’re looking for
Structured thinking and a rational and inquisitive approach to solving problems using data.
A natural affinity with numbers and enthusiasm to use numerical ability to spot trends.
The ability to take your own ideas, articulate them clearly and then develop solutions.
Can demonstrate competencies in core Data Analyst skills, including: Coding, data knowledge and system understanding. Experience in an Analytical role desired.
Some knowledge of at least one relevant language is essential (i.e. SQL, Python, or R).
Great stakeholder management, able to think through and communicate data to non technical stakeholders.
Able to self prioritise workloads, displaying consistent delivery of work, drive successful outcomes, and understand when to escalate to their manager.
Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position and will be based in our Nottingham offices.
Our hybrid working model offers you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home, when you need to.
We're big on collaboration and connection, and so generally encourage our associates to use our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The number of days you spend in the office will usually be led by the type of work you’re doing, and the hybrid working patterns of the people you partner most closely with.
