Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Studio Operations, the Studio Operations Assistant is key to the day to day running of the studio and are necessary for meeting client expectation. They are responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, well-presented site.
This is a customer facing role where attention to detail is crucial when carrying out daily tasks such as facility / room setup and grounds clearance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the studio site
- Litter pick, clean, sweep and de-weed all roads and pathways, car parks, external lighting and signage
- Responsible for the furnishing of all Studio facilities in line with customer expectations.
- Customer liaison/support.
- Stage, gantry and workshop cleaning.
- Responsibility for the distribution of door/parking signs.
- Checking of studio facilities before and after use.
- Assist in the moving of tenant or production companies and any other duties deemed appropriate by line management.
- Vigilance and general admin, maintenance and security reporting i.e. insecurity of buildings, damage and skip removal.
- Reporting and removal of fly tipping and scrap items left on the studio lot.
- Carrying out ad hoc gardening tasks as required.
- Snow and ice clearance/gritting when required.
- Monitoring, transporting and emptying of bins
Manual Handling
- Studio/customer property.
- Furnishing facilities/office set up.
Cleaning
- Furniture/cupboards/appliances etc.
- Collect rubbish from Facilities when appropriate as per customer or studio management request.
Administration
- Co-ordination and maintaining of Studio Assets
- Logging jobs and completing field service reports
- Phone/office cover- give out basic site information and answer queries as required or offer alternative help.
- Assisting is producing Studio passes in conjunction with the Security team
Vehicles
- Maintain, clean and report any issues with electric vehicles.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Provide first class customer service at all times.
- Must hold a full driving licence
- Desirable commercial industry experience and knowledge of sector.
- Excellent ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Strong team player and orientation towards teamwork.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and confidence skills.
- The ability to trouble-shoot problems and think laterally.
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
- Reliable, tolerant, determined and flexible.
Person Specification:
Personality: Self driven, results orientated and a confident communicator. Responsible attitude, dependable and punctual. Keen to develop their own skills and be a key team player.
Literacy and Numeracy: Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Business Skills: Must be confident and professional when dealing with customers, face-to-face and via telephone/emails.

Salary: From £22,000.00 per year
