Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week.
As part of Bristol City Council's continued drive towards innovation in service delivery, we require a talented Data Analyst to deliver pioneering business intelligence products covering a range of council services including Child Social Care to support senior management decision making.
Bristol City Council is currently delivering a significant change programme aimed at improving the lives of people in the city. The focus of this post will be to provide relevant information and support decision making which drives performance improvement and more efficient delivery to service users.
This technical role works alongside a number of Data Analysts and includes direct delivery of business intelligence outputs, such as central government returns, daily/weekly/monthly/yearly service reports, pioneering new reporting tools & techniques and supporting change programmes in their reporting requirements.
This is a technical role requiring advanced data analytics experience using ETL/ELT processes with software such as Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS etc. and a desire to use innovative techniques to data manipulation & reporting packages.
Experience with other reporting tools such as Qlik Sense would be advantageous but not essential.
