LP4: pro rata salary range based on full time term time only: £18,445-£20,220
From September 2023
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Visual Arts Technician to support the effective delivery of a high quality visual arts provision, maintaining excellent standards and practice.
The ideal applicant will have basic technical knowhow and a keen interest in the use and maintenance of relevant Art, Textile and Photography equipment, materials and tools. In addition, the ability to understand and apply workshop practice and health and safety are essential, though training will be provided to support the successful applicant. You will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of technical support to the Department. The successful applicant will be highly organised and adopt a mature approach to their responsibilities.
The thriving Arts and Technology Faculty runs highly successful examination courses in a number of specialisms at GCSE and A Level, along with an extensive extra-curricular programme in Art, Textiles, Design Technology, Graphics and Photography.
