Responsibilities:
As a valued member of their team, you will be entrusted with a range of important responsibilities, including:
- Expertly handling tax returns and VAT matters.
- Preparing accounts up to Trial Balance.
- Acting as a liaison with HMRC when necessary, ensuring compliance and addressing any related issues.
- Serving as a dependable point of contact for clients, offering timely and effective assistance.
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members and apprentices, serving as a mentor and helping them navigate their roles.
To excel in this position, we are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of three years in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse accounting responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in multiple accounting systems, including but not limited to IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Prior exposure to the aforementioned responsibilities, giving you a solid foundation to build upon.
