About the role:
As a Data Analyst at Brightwell, you will play a crucial role in our data management and reporting processes. Working collaboratively with fellow analysts, you will be responsible for extracting, collating, and auditing data for inclusion in various reports. Your expertise in utilising Business Intelligence software will be vital in creating, maintaining, and scheduling these reports to ensure accurate and timely insights.

Key areas of responsibility
- Prepare monthly Executive Packs and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Packs
- Create and maintain reports issued to all departments
- Create and maintain spreadsheets recording business performance
- Complete ONS (Office of National Statistics) surveys
- OEE & Resource analysis
- Complete Month and Year end routines
- Involvement in process audits
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects
- Assist with software implementations and upgrades
Skill set of the role:
Essential
- No formal requirements, however, must be comfortable with numerical information and expressions
- Financial or Manufacturing background
- MS Excel Advanced (including charts, lookup tables, pivot tables, presentation / report formatting skills)
- Power BI dashboard creation
- SQL Database Skills (create views and queries, use stored procedures)
- Logical and numerically minded
- Enjoy problem solving and work to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Self motivated and with ability to work alone and as part of a team
Desired
- Auditing processes
- ERP usage experience e.g. Syspro
- Crystal Reports (or similar SQL table based report writing software)
