Role: Lead Data Governance Analyst
Location: Warwick
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension to 18 Months)
We have a brand-new and exciting position with one of our Nationwide Utilities & Energies Clients for a skilled and talented Data Analyst.
You will be working as a member of the Data Governance Management team within the Group HR function serving as the client's Workforce Data Domain owner for over 30,000 employees, contractors or managed service providers globally, this role supports a range of capabilities that govern and lead key initiatives for our organization's worker data, responsible for its definitions, quality, security, retention, use cases and compliance requirements.
This role will support development and maturity of HR's Data Governance operations through our HR Transformation programme and business as usual activities. You will contribute to the delivery of new data management processes, procedures, data quality reporting and technology solutions and other governance tools which will provide foundational elements essential to meet business needs through quality workforce data.

You will contribute to the delivery of new data management processes, procedures, data quality reporting and technology solutions and other governance tools which will provide foundational elements essential to meet business needs through quality workforce data.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide input on complex data issues and contribute to architectural and design decisions through our HR Transformation
- Contribute to development of critical data domain catalogs, glossaries, definitions, rules, RACIs, conceptual and logical data models
- Document master data foundation objects, data flows, and reference data maintenance processes
- Shape data quality rules, assurance processes and technology/tooling providing actionable results through visualization dashboards
- Inform creation of pragmatic data governance process and controls which deliver RACI, privacy, risk management and compliance obligations while enabling data access and utilization to realize business value
- Lead work delivery, workshops and creation of business documentation engaging with subject matter experts and critical stakeholders influencing decisions and outcomes
- Support data workstream planning, delivery, and PMO obligations within our HR Transformaiton Programme
- Deliver simple 'progress over perfection' pragmatic work results at pace, leading with enthusiasm and collaboration
- Contribute toward the capability growth and performance of our Team by collaborating effectively while helping to cultivate an inclusive work environment and having some fun too.
- Prior business experience supporting or as a data owner, data manager, data steward, HRIS or other related data, analytics, IT role or responsibilities
- Experience drafting policies, procedures, processes, data catalogues and glossaries or other related skills and qualifications
- Knowledge of master data management, data models, data flows, data quality and assurance, governance frameworks, data privacy, GDPR, compliance and controls
- Strong proficiency in data analytics, visualization, dashboarding and analytics reporting through use of Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI or other related tools and technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with business subject matter experts and stakeholders to explain data to non-technical people, influence, debate, facilitate decisions and deliver targeted outcomes.
