Summer Cyber Security / Developer internship
Our summer internship will run from 3rd July 2023 to 25th August 2023, at our office in Bristol, UK
You will form an agile team with other interns, working on a project which will combine both cyber and programming skills.
The internship will provide insight into a broad range of cyber and software disciplines, enabling you to better decide where you want to work longer term.
You will have lots of opportunity to use the Immersive Labs learning platform and practically up skill yourself as you test and validate lab content.
You will need to be able to work from our office for the entire internship and will be paid living wage at £10.90 per hour.
Your main responsibilities
- Shadow and work with the technical teams to learn how to create your own labs and content.
- Learn from product delivery team exploring Agile software delivery methods and learning about modern programming languages and techniques
- Work with the wider cyber security team to test and validate lab content based on user feedback
- Researching cybersecurity, technology and technical concepts to understand the learnings, and translate to a non-technical audience.
- Collaborating on exercises & content creation based upon research
What do you need to apply?
We are looking for individuals with passion, curiosity and determination who would like a Summer Internship in Cyber Security
- A good understanding of computer systems
- A good understanding of Cyber Security
- Some knowledge of a programming language
- Clear, accurate and articulate English writing skills
- Desire to learn and develop your skills
- Critical thinking skills
