Purpose of the role:
The Cyber Security Analyst is a first line of defence role within OneFamily’s IT and Change function, reporting to the Head of Cyber Security. You'll assist with the day-to-day activities of the cyber security function including dealing with security requests from the business, investigating and triaging cyber security events and alerts and helping with the Cyber Team’s response to security incidents.
Also, you'll provide a service to OneFamily’s Business Change team, advising on security best practice and supporting the secure development of technology in line with a secure system development lifecycle.
The role will also involve the periodic testing of IT and Cyber controls, in support of OneFamily’s Risk and Controls Self-Assessment process. This may involve the monitoring of key controls such as identify and access management, to look for abuse of permissions, change management to ensure changes made to systems have been authorised, or backups procedures, to provide assurance that systems and data can be recovered in a disaster.
You'll also help support OneFamily manage its supply chain risk by evaluating third-party supplier’s due diligence questionnaires and interviewing suppliers to gather additional assurance where needed.
A good level of current knowledge and proficiency in technology risk management, cyber security and cyber threats is essential in this role.
