About The Role

The Data Lifecycle team here are responsible for managing the update of the Electricity Asset Register ensuring that the financial records are correctly attributed to the recorded assets, to enable accurate unit costs to be derived which underpin future cost targeting.
You will be responsible for creating, managing, maintaining & controlling the asset, geospatial and work management data, and information to ensure that all 250,000 assets that exist on the Electricity Transmission (ET) system.
The team is made up of Data Officers, Technical Data Assurance Leads and Senior Asset Data Officers all working closely and supportively together to ensure all assets are correctly registered and recognised in the regulated asset value.
You will:
- Manage accurate asset records and scripts within ET’s core asset, geospatial and work management systems, throughout the asset lifecycle
- Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the creation of value cases to support ET’s evolving asset management approach to meet the requirements of our price controls Develop improved data collection processes and identify systems improvements for handling ET asset information to be used across all business streams including technical data, training, and documentation requirements

- Data Management experience
- Knowledge and/or experience of extracting and manipulating data from Asset, Geospatial and/or Work Management Systems
- Experience in Querying Databases
- Analytical and Problem-Solving capabilities, and the ability to contribute to effective team working
- Awareness of Fixed Asset accounting and the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley is desirable

- A salary of £35,610 – £45,179 dependant on capability
- Annual Performance Based Bonus
- 37-hour week, with Hybrid working model between Home and Office (Warwick)
