As a Finance Assistant, you will provide support and be predominantly responsible for assisting the team with accounting support duties. This is a part-time role - 25 hours weekly.
Your day-to-day
- Complete the daily income audit and all daily related tasks
- Reconcile Cash, credit cards and Bacs payments
- Reconcile Refunds and Allowances
- Reconcile daily voucher redemptions
- Review Guest Ledger, Sales Ledger and Deposits daily and ensure all balance
- Review AR account balances are in line with agreed terms, process daily invoices and monthly statements.
- Work with FOH team to ensure deposits are received, reconciled, and posted correctly.
- Lead weekly debtors review with Hotel GM, HOD’s and Central finance/ Ops team and ensure chase notes are up to date
- Update Daily management sheet and ensure all bills are appropriately signed
- Review Rate Overrides
- Update Food Flash daily with Actuals
- Maintain Procure Wizard orders
- Petty cash processing
- Process Commission claims as per the company process
- Upload Weekly revenue file to EPS
- Prepare Month End pack
- Carry out weekly/monthly financial checks as per company policies
- Assist with Audit requirements
- All any other job-related duties as assigned by Hotel GM
What we need from you
- You will need to have previous experience in an Accounts / Finance department:
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Computer literacy vital in all Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
- Excellent communicator both verbal and written English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Procure Wizards is desired
