This is your opportunity to join our rapidly expanding business at an exciting time! We have a new role for a Quality & Technical Assistant to work with our Technical Manager. The role will be split across our 2 sites based in LS12 & LS14.
The responsibilities of the role are;
- Day-to-day administration support to the Technical Manager
- Proactively record and maintain high levels of data
- Have a key focus on reporting & analysing
- Day-to-day techincal support to customers and internal departments
- Reporting findings of any quality issues
- Completion of Supplier Claims for faulty items
- Updating Website and Customer communication with technical information
- Quality checking of products (after completing training)
After training you will be required to assist our technical team with customer queries they may have via email and phone. You will be providing additional support to our internal teams who have technical queries/issues on our product base. You will be involved with building a product knowledge base for the Website with relevant and accurate technical information and monitor regularly to ensure it is kept up to date. You will be tasked with building and updating all technical documentation to support and assist both Customers and Internal Teams and assisting the Technical Manager with projects as needed such as product quality inspections.
Skills Required:
- Analytical and naturally inquisitive with good questioning skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Able to communicate well and build rapport with people at various levels of the business and customers
- Ability to take responsibility for resolving issues
- Ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills and strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Office 365 tools is essential.
- Have a keen eye for detail with thoroughness and tenacity
- Great organisational skills to ensure completion of projects (Full and extensive training will be given to ensure you are supported and can develop the necessary skills to complete the role successfully).
- Ability to multitask and work under strict timelines with a flexible attitude
- Proactive approach with a willingness to continually change and adapt
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Leeds, LS14 1NG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
