Hours: Part-time permanent
Work Pattern: 10am to 3pm over 5 days or 25 hours over 4 days
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Customer Services Team. As an integral member of the team, you will promote Life to schools and other groups, including making them aware of the current science centre offer, special events and promotions. Key tasks will be increasing the number of schools and group bookings through sales campaigns, maintaining and updating the bookings databases and researching new leads. You will also help promote and boost sales of the annual membership scheme and seasonal outdoor ice rink.
The ideal person will be well organised with good administration and telephone skills, and be able to quickly grasp a good understanding of the types of services and packages Life offers. Experience of using an Access (Gamma) booking system would be an advantage and good IT skills are essential.
The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and will be able to quickly build rapport whilst providing a friendly and effective customer service.
