We employ just over 100 people, based in the City of York, in the Hudson Quarter, directly opposite York railway station.
We now have an exciting opportunity in our Customer Services Department for experienced Customer Services Executives to join us.
The role
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Customer Services Executives to deliver a first rate experience to our customers. You will be the first point of contact for customers when they require support before and whilst on tour. The role will involve both inbound and outbound calls to existing customers, and responding to email enquiries. This could include issuing booking confirmations, processing web bookings and resolving queries, along with supporting the administration of holiday cancellations, discussing other available options with customers, and booking UK rail and hotel requirements to enhance the customer’s experience. You will also be expected to arrange visas and carry out mobility checks to ensure customers’ mobility expectations are met.

- Proven experience of working in a customer service environment.
- Strong desire and passion to deliver an amazing customer experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to quickly develop strong relationships.
- Able to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to demonstrate an engaging and enthusiastic interest in travel.
- Creative in solving problems. Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Flexibility in handling different tasks and activities and supporting other teams when required.
You will need to be able to work weekends usually 1 in 4, Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm and Sunday 10.00am-4.00pm and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.

Salary: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
