We are looking for you to join our Collections Contact Centre. This is our department that looks after our customers who may need an additional level of support with their accounts, due to account arrears. You will be providing general advice and support by listening and understanding the customers' needs to help find individual solutions; for instance, signposting customers to our assistance programmes, such as the priority services register. The role is challenging, but this is an opportunity to have a significant impact on improving our customers circumstances.
To be successful in this role, you do not need to have contact centre or even customer care experience. We are looking for people with the resilience to handle difficult conversations, with empathy and a desire to help people in vulnerable situations. You will have the ability to develop relationships quickly and help our customers to find debt solutions. We will provide an ongoing training package to help you develop into the role and continuous support through our mentoring and ongoing formal and informal support sessions.
You will work an average of 37 hours per week, with shifts between Monday and Sunday, including bank holidays. Monday to Friday operating hours are between 8am - 8pm; Saturdays 8am - 4pm; and Sundays 10am - 4pm.
