Customer Service Assistant - 16 hours per week at Wynsors World of Shoes, Whitley Road, Newcastle.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Assistant for 16 hours per week (4 out of 7 days, variable and weekends inclusive) to join our Wynsors team in our Wynsors World of Shoes, Whitley Road, Newcastle NE12 9EZ.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Wynsors who are experts in the footwear industry. We value each other and collectively work to getting it right every time for our customers.
What are we looking for in our Customer Service Assistant?
Personality, a friendly helpful nature that will consistently deliver that personal touch and warm welcome to all our customers. You will love bringing our products to life to meet our customer’s individual needs, be great at selling and delivering first class results with your great communication skills. You will love keeping up to date with our new ranges, seasonal and high street trends. Take pride in making sure our shop floor and stockroom are spotless.
To be successful, you will need to be flexible, in both when you work and the way you work, as adapting to customer demand is key to our success as a business. Here at Wynsors we work Sunday to Saturday on a rota basis which you will be notified of four weeks in advance. If flexibility cannot be met, we will be unable to process your application further.

BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure customer service standards are achieved daily
- Ensure that shop floor standards are maintained daily
- Adhere to company security procedures at all times
- Follow company procedures with regard to branch Ibt's and recalls
- Ensure productivity targets are achieved when processing the store delivery
- Maintain stockroom standards
- Demonstrate a good understanding of product knowledge
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
All Health and Safety requirements are met to the company standard and as defined in the H.A.S.A.W.A to ensure the safety of customers and staff
- Ensure the branch complies with all aspects of retail law
- Project a professional image at all times
- Ensure security procedures and regulations are adhered to daily
- Carry out any other duties as required by your branch management
DAILY TASKS
- Customer service
- Product merchandising
- Housekeeping and general store tidiness, cleaning shelves vacuuming the carpet etc.
- Till transactions, customer refunds
- Stockroom duties and processing
